So How's Life Treating You? Could I have just a minute of your time? I promise not to keep you long. Right now I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm talking about 24/7 "lockdown". Kind of time inside the world's most securest Federal Supermax Prison. (ADX Florence) needless to say. I don't get out much. Even a view to the sky is a commodity around here. But like thay say on "The Sopranos"; Whataya gonna do?...It is what it is. The thing is I believe that experience is the most qualified teacher. And it has taught me that prison, especially on lockdown, will literally destroy you if you allow it to. Make no mistake about it. There are many broken people in prison that suffer from defeatism. They have failed in life cause they lack a fundamental belief in themselves. And prison only tends to solidify those fundamental beliefs. So they give way to the efficacious rule of rot and decay. The status quo becomes a feast off of negativity and hate. Life for them weeds itself into only mere existance. But couldn't it be said that prison is nothing more than a microcosm of society as a whole? I just described a good deal of the population out in the free world. Many are held captive by their own "self created" prisons regardless, and sometimes inspite of their true world circumstances. My point is "state of mind" is everything. But "state of spirit" creates all things. What makes a human being truly alive, and hold with that truth to his or her spirit for life is not predicated on circumstance. Here at the ADX Supermax, lockdown is an integral part of the strict disciplinary regimen. It is the apex development on how to steal one's soul. Fortunately I'm not one to fall into the devil's lap of the given methodology. After all, life's too short to waste in despair, or what you thought it should've been or could've been... I deal with what life brings to my table...and keep right on smiling. Cause it doesn't matter how you got to where you are, the most important thing is what you do while you're there. And believe me what doesn't kill you-only makes you stronger and wiser. At least that's my take on it. With that being said, it should pretty much give you an idea as to why you're reading this right now. Like Jack Nicholson said when he played The Joker in the movie "Batman"; Let's broaden our horizons. It's like this. I could stay stuck in this world, stuck inside this cell and let life pass me by or, I can get up and reach out to the world and try to see what's going on in your life. Which one do you think I'm going for? Like I said, I'm trying to broaden my horizons. One thing you need to know about me is that I am about as real and sincere as it gets. No B.S. no games. And I'm pretty sure that there's a woman out there that can respect and relate to that. And if you are out there, I would definitely love to hear from you. I can offer to you a solid friendship and quality time. I can offer you genuine companionship. And just so you know, I'm not caught up on looks, race, weight, money, none of that matters to me. Besides all women are beautiful in my eyes. And I'm interested in meeting one who's down to earth. A woman who enjoys her own company and doesn't mind a guy who loves to make her laugh. Does that sound anything like you? Well then, I'm very much looking forward to hearing from you no matter the miles away you are. Well I told you I wouldn't be long. I hope you beared with me. I sincerely enjoy talking to you. And on that note, I leave you with this one last thought; Life isn't really what you make it all the time.
